TSUMUは、日本語の「積む」という言葉から名付けられた、スタッキングできるシェルフです。柔らかな曲線で描かれたひとつのフレーム。単体では静かな余白を持つ小さな棚として、重ねれば縦へと伸びるひとつの構造として。置き方や重ね方によって、その佇まいを変えていきます。一層ずつ積み上げる3Dプリントの製法と、ひとつずつ重ねて使うプロダクトのあり方。「積む」という同じ行為が、つくることと、使うことを静かにつないでいます。ものを収めるためだけではなく、余白をつくり、景色を組み立てるための棚。TSUMUは、使う人の手によって、空間の中で少しずつ完成していきます。

TSUMU — meaning “to stack” in Japanese — is a modular shelf designed to grow through stacking.Each unit forms a softly curved frame, creating a quiet space within. Used alone, it becomes a small shelf with a sculptural presence. Stacked together, the individual forms rise into a larger architectural composition, changing with the way they are arranged.There is a subtle connection between how TSUMU is made and how it is used: layer upon layer through 3D printing, and piece upon piece through stacking. The same act of accumulation connects fabrication with everyday use.More than a place to hold objects, TSUMU creates intervals, frames empty space, and allows a landscape to be composed.Completed little by little, by the hands of the person who uses it.
