SAKUは、花がゆっくりと蕾をほどき、光へ向かって咲いていく姿から着想したローテーブルです。足元から伸びるいくつもの有機的なフォルムは、上へ向かうにつれて柔らかくひらき、花弁のような輪郭を描きます。異なる大きさのかたちが寄り添い、重なりながら、一枚の透明な天板を静かに支えます。「SAKU（咲）」という名に込めたのは、完成されたかたちではなく、生命がひらいていく、その瞬間の美しさ。植物由来の素材を一層ずつ積み重ねるデジタルファブリケーションによって、自然界のような不均一でやわらかな曲線を描きました。透明なガラス越しに見えるのは、隠されるはずの構造ではなく、このテーブルをかたちづくる小さな景色。SAKUは、空間の中に静かに花を咲かせます。

SAKU — meaning “to bloom” in Japanese — is a low table inspired by the quiet moment when a flower unfolds from bud to blossom.A cluster of organic forms rises from the floor, gently opening as they reach upward and creating silhouettes reminiscent of petals in bloom. Different in scale and character, they gather together to quietly support a single transparent surface.The name SAKU expresses not a finished form, but the beauty of life in the act of opening.Layer by layer, plant-based material is shaped through digital fabrication into soft, irregular curves that echo the subtle variations found in nature.Seen through the transparent glass, the structure beneath is no longer something to conceal, but a small landscape at the heart of the table.SAKU brings a quiet bloom into the space.
