NAMIは、水面を渡る波と、風に揺れる布のやわらかな動きから着想したランプシェードです。ゆるやかに膨らむ輪郭と、波打つようにひらく裾。一層ずつ積み重ねられた素材の表情に光が透過することで、明るさの濃淡が生まれ、シェードそのものが淡く発光するような佇まいを見せます。「NAMI（波）」という名に込めたのは、光をただ照らすものとしてではなく、空間へ静かに広がっていくものとして捉える感覚。植物由来の素材をデジタルファブリケーションによって積み重ね、均一ではない、自然な揺らぎをそのまま造形に残しました。灯された光は曲面を伝い、波のような縁からやわらかくこぼれていく。NAMIは、光と影の間に、穏やかな波紋を描きます。
A quiet wave, shaped around light.
NAMI — meaning “wave” in Japanese — is a lampshade inspired by ripples moving across water and the gentle motion of fabric stirred by the wind.Its softly rounded silhouette opens into an undulating edge below. As light passes through the layers of material, subtle variations in brightness emerge, giving the shade an almost luminous presence of its own.The name NAMI reflects the idea of light not simply as illumination, but as something that gently travels through a space.Layer by layer, plant-based material is shaped through digital fabrication, preserving subtle irregularities reminiscent of forms found in nature.Light flows across its curved surface and softly spills from its wave-like edge.NAMI brings a gentle ripple of light and shadow into the room.
