KUKURUは、流れるような曲面が中央でひとつに結ばれる姿から着想したダイニングテーブルです。足元から立ち上がる柔らかな輪郭は、中央に向かってゆるやかに絞られ、再び天板へ向かって大きくひらいていく。光を受けた積層の表情は細やかな陰影を生み、見る角度によって、水に削られた岩肌にも、静かに広がる布にも見えてきます。「KUKURU（括）」という名に込めたのは、かたちをひとつに結ぶこと、そして、人と人をひとつの場所へ結ぶこと。植物由来の素材を一層ずつ重ねることで生まれた有機的な造形と、その上に浮かぶ透明な天板。構造を隠すのではなく、日々の風景の中心として見せることで、テーブルそのものがひとつの彫刻となります。食事をする。言葉を交わす。同じ時間を過ごす。KUKURUは、人が集う場所の中心に、静かなつながりをつくります。

KUKURU is a dining table inspired by flowing surfaces drawn together into a single, sculptural form.Its soft silhouette rises from the floor, gradually narrowing toward the center before opening outward again beneath the tabletop. Across its layered surface, light creates delicate shadows that shift with every perspective — at times recalling stone shaped by water, at others the gentle folds of draped fabric.The name KUKURU comes from a Japanese word meaning “to gather” or “to bind together.” It reflects both the form itself and the role of a dining table: bringing people together around one place.Layer by layer, plant-based material is shaped into an organic structure, visible beneath a transparent glass surface. Rather than concealing what supports the table, KUKURU celebrates it as a sculptural presence at the center of everyday life.To share a meal. To exchange words. To spend time together.KUKURU creates a quiet connection at the heart of a gathering place.
