MAYUは、自然界に生まれる有機的な曲線と、生命をやさしく包み込む繭のかたちから着想した空間オブジェです。大きく弧を描く輪郭と、内と外をゆるやかにつなぐ開口部。閉じるのではなく、包む。隔てるのではなく、つなぐ。その柔らかな境界は、見る角度や光の移ろいによってさまざまな表情を見せます。植物由来の素材を幾重にも積み重ね、デジタルファブリケーションによって形づくられるその姿は、人工物でありながら、どこか生きもののよう。人と自然、空間と生命が静かに溶け合う、新しい風景をつくります。

MAYU — meaning “cocoon” in Japanese — is a spatial object inspired by the organic curves found in nature and the quiet, protective form that surrounds new life.Its sweeping silhouette embraces the space, while sculpted openings create a gentle connection between inside and out. Rather than enclosing, it shelters. Rather than separating, it connects. As light and perspective shift, its curved surfaces reveal ever-changing expressions.Formed through layers of plant-based material and shaped by digital fabrication, MAYU is an object made by technology, yet its presence feels almost alive.A new landscape where people, nature, space, and life quietly come together.
