一枚の面がめぐり、重なりながら、ひとつのかたちになる。
SENは、中心から放射状に広がる面が、ゆるやかに旋回しながら立ち上がる構造から生まれたテーブルです。薄い面の一枚一枚は、足元から天板へ向かってわずかに方向を変えながら伸び、互いに重なり合うことでひとつの構造をつくります。上から見れば、花弁がひらくように。横から見れば、風を受けた布が舞うように。「SEN（旋）」という名に込めたのは、ひとつの中心を軸に、異なる面がめぐりながら秩序を生み出していく動きです。植物由来の素材を一層ずつ積み重ねる3D積層造形によって、薄さと曲面、そして連続する捻りをひとつの構造として形づくりました。それぞれの面の縁に現れる色彩は、見る位置によって重なったり、離れたりしながら、造形に新しい輪郭を描きます。静止していながら、動き続けているように見える。SENは、空間の中に「旋る」という一瞬を留めた、彫刻的なテーブルです。
Surfaces turn,overlap, and become one.
SEN — meaning “rotation” or “circling” in Japanese — is a sculptural table composed of multiple surfaces that rise from a central axis while gently turning through space.Each thin surface changes its orientation as it extends from the floor toward the tabletop. Together, they overlap and support one another, forming a single continuous structure.Seen from above, the form recalls petals unfolding from a flower.From the side, it evokes fabric caught in a gentle current of air.The name SEN expresses the idea of multiple elements revolving around a shared center, creating order through movement.Built layer by layer from plant-based material through additive fabrication, SEN brings together thin surfaces, flowing curves, and continuous rotation within a single structure.Colored edges trace each individual surface, appearing to converge and separate as the viewer moves around the piece, revealing new outlines from every angle.Perfectly still, yet seemingly in motion.SEN captures a moment of rotation and holds it within space.
